Yummie Dummie started when the brilliant palets of Ceci and Veronica met while studying in Amsterdam 2011. Even though they thought that the Dutch cuisine is as lovely as mashed potatoes can be, there was a huge supply of different international restaurants, eet cafés, fast food chains and fries stands where they could indulge. They both are huge food junkies and used this blog to share their eating adventures, whether it would be through cooking in their very tiny kitchens (without ovens) or ordering in or out.
From there to...
The semester went by and they both went back to their home countries. Veronica is now a producer and still a vegetarian. Ceci went to study in the US and visited Veronica, took a short cut to Korea and then moved back to Sweden and here's were the new chapter begins.
And now...
Ceci took over Yummy Dummie to explore food in the search for genuinely good eats in the pockets of Gothenburg. She doesn't care if it's in hole in the wall as long as it's got heart and shows the passion behind it. As long as the place got great service and great food - she's happy as a pocket full of socks. She still has a tiny kitchen but that's okay.
Yummie Dummie (yes, dummies can't spell) explore food whether it's in restaurants or at home (take out or homemade). If it's any good, there's no time for taking photos, just eat. Afterwards, shiiit but it was guuuud.
